Raise your hand if work on trunk & hip stability. Do I hear crickets?
If you're like me, I never even heard of trunk & hip stability that is until sweet trainer friend of mine @JonCoulson showed me the above video (.54 seconds) during a discussion he and I were having about some knee and hip injuries I tend to get because of running.
Watching the video, this exercise looks easy, but Jon shared, "...rotating your shoulders and hips together is tougher than you think. You need to brace your abs pretty tight."
I'd add that the leg you're standing on can get wobbly the first time too. I felt like an airplane with some turbulence. I really felt this exercise in the core.
